Hey everyone,

I know that a lot of you managed to get more (and better) pictures than I did during Phoenix Rising, so I have a favor to ask. We continue to get international requests from the media for stories and pictures, and I wondered if any of you had some photos (or even videos) that you wouldn't mind sharing.

Specifically, we're seeking the following to have on hand:

action shots of Quidditch (and/or match video files, and link to a place it can be seen online, if available)
pictures that you have of yourself in action as a presenter
pictures of you in action working on your craft (like, you knitting a Streeler or writing a drabble or sketching at Artists and Authors Night)
pictures of the Overture Dinner where it's difficult to recognize any one person (crowd shots)
pictures of the Masquerade Ball where people are dancing and it's difficult to recognize any one person (crowd shots)

Unfortunately, we can't use posed shots for these requests.

Please e-mail photos and videos to me at hallie@thephoenixrises.org as soon as possible with your real name and a statement that we may use your pictures. There is no payment available, and while we'll pass your name on as the photographer/videographer, we can't guarantee that any of your work will be used, that all of the media outlets will give you credit for your work if they do use it--or that the story will be online (or even in English).

Thanks so much in advance for your help! We'll have an edition of From Ash and Flame online at fromashandflame later today, and will keep you updated on stories about fan activities and pre-Deathly Hallows excitement as they become available.

Cheers,
Hallie Tibbetts

We still haven't pulled the photos off of tam_elbrun's camera, but I'll look to see what we have that might work.
